108 2. Work can often continue. Not everyone who suffers under the effects of a trauma, a depression or a mar- ital crisis must necessarily stop work. 3. To be a witness. Overcoming these things at the place of work can be a powerful witness to native Christians. 4. A social network exists. Many find it simpler to deal with their needs in the place where they work. So- metimes a better social network is available. Team problems can be tackled where they originate. 5. It saves a lot of money and time. 6. Those who return home often do not come back. This is roughly how my life in Kenya looks, and in all the questions and searchings, whether as a Christian psycho- logist or in private life, I take my orientation from what Dietrich Bonhoeffer said: „The place in which the question of the reality of God and the question of the reality of the world find their simultaneous answer is designated by one name alone: Jesus Christ. God and the world are comprised in this name. In him all things have their being (Col. 1,16). From now on, one cannot speak of either God or the world without speaking of Jesus Christ. Nicht jeder, der unter den Folgen eines Traumas, einer Depressi- on oder einer Ehekrise leidet, muss darum seinen Dienst aufgeben. 3. Zeugnis sein. Das Bewältigen dieser Dinge am Ein- satzort kann für die einheimischen Christen ein starkes Zeugnis sein. 4. Soziales Netz vorhanden. So mancher findet es einfacher, am Dienstort seine Nöte anzugehen. Manchmal besteht ein besseres soziales Netz. Team- probleme können dort angegangen werden, wo sie entstanden sind. 5. Es spart eine Menge Geld und Zeit. 6. Die, die nach Hause zurückgekehrt sind, kommen oft nicht zurück. So in etwa sieht mein Leben in Kenia aus und in all den Fragen und Suchen, sei es als Christliche Psychologin oder im Privaten, orientiere ich mich an dem, was Diet- rich Bonhoeffer gesagt hat: „Der Ort, an dem die Frage nach der Wirklichkeit Gottes wie die nach der Wirklichkeit der Welt zugleich Beantwor- tung erfährt, ist allein bezeichnet durch den Namen: Jesus Christus. In diesem Namen ist Gott und die Welt beschlossen. In ihm hat alles seinen Bestand (Kol. 1,16). Von nun an kann weder von Gott noch von der Welt recht geredet werden, ohne von Jesus Christus.
